Since 2003 the Polish economy performed well until the global financial crisis hit.
The Polish economy showed its relative strength by not needing much assistance during the crisis and is likely
to continue to perform well over the coming years.

Property prices in Poland boomed between 2004-2007, and then fell year on year until 2010.
Prices are now at a low point and are likely to increase.

Polish property taxes are generally neither high nor low.
Purchase taxes are around 3-4%. There is a very small annual real estate tax and capital gains tax.

Poland Mortgages
Mortgages conditions for foreigners have toughened over recent years due to the falling property prices and financial crisis.
It is still possible to obtain mortgages of 70-80% LTV with interest rates of between 5-8% (depending on the currency).
Currently no interest only mortgages are available in Poland.

Poland Rental Market
When Poland joined the EU in 2004 yields of 6-8% were possible. These then fell dramatically to 3-4%.
Due to falling prices and a slightly increased demand for rentals yields have since picked up (dependent on the location).
