Demand for homes stays high despite slowdown forecasts

Despite the US mortgage crisis and developers' initial concerns, demand for homes is still high, and prices continue rising. "We expected five to eight bad months, but this year has really surprised us with strong demand," says Vladimr Toman from property developer Orco Group.
