Prague - 38% YOY uplift in finished homes in 2007

A total of 41,650 dwellings were completed in the Czech Republic in 2007,
38 percent more than a year earlier and the highest number since 1991,
the Czech Statistical Office (CSU) announced Thursday.
Increases were recorded for dwellings in multi-dwelling buildings (+10.9 percent)
and for dwellings in converted non-residential spaces (+51.8 percent).
The highest number of flats started to be built in Prague and the Stredocesky region
and the lowest in the Kralovarsky region.
