Traditionally the property market in the Czech Republic has been one of the strongest in Central and Eastern Europe,
driven by a strong economy, rising wages and good mortgage financing.
Prices hit a peak in summer 2008 and fell heavily for over a year.
The market now appears to be stabilising, but that does not mean that prices are about to rise again immediately.

Czech mortgages remain the best in Europe. Typically 80-85% LTV is obtainable, 20-30 year terms with current rates around 5.5-6%.
